ale cominotti war map

The Purr Music is a Serbian based record label with a distinguished taste for the deep stuff. Close ties with Jozi based label DeepStitched has seen labelhead 2lani The Warrior drop a guestmix for The Purr’s online radio podcast and Jelly For The Babies headlining DeepStitched’s DeepStitched Days event series.

The Serbians keep their Southern African love affinity going here by sourcing 2 remixes for Argentinean based producer Ale Cominotti’s War Map EP. First up is Swaziland’s finest !Sooks & Secret Souls, who lend their signature deep and minimal touch to Ale’s Dunkirk. The remix has gorgeous subtle elements to it and is almost reminiscent of a Stimming groove. Sand Isle brings his production skills to remix number 2, an aptly named ‘After Hours Edit’ of Normandie, adding a spacey and atmospheric feel to a decidedly late night number.

Stream the EP with both remixes below and purchase your copy off the Beatport link, more music can be found on 2lani’s guestmix for The Purr Music here.
