Those who follow deepstreet will know our love for Jazzuelle runs deep. From unforgettable DJ sets to stellar productions the artist continues to evolve and refuses to be pigeon-holed. His latest release is a 4 track EP that sits in stark contrast to the majority of his melodic heavy catalog.
The release drops on MoBlack Records, a label carving out a name for themselves by sitting perfectly between afro and techno. The first 3 tracks on the EP all epitomize this sound perfectly and are likely to be doing real damage on international dancefloors as well as at home. Above Smoke stands out here as a tribal influenced driver with all the drama and atmosphere you come to expect from a Jazzuelle record. Title track Uhuru cools the project down with an ambient finish, a direction we have also been seeing the producer exhibit more frequently.
