Local collective Suid Tronice just keep on delivering the goods in 2019. The young label has had a stellar year of releases including 2 full compilations and several EPs. What better way to cap it all off, than with a care package from one of the countries most in demand house acts: Avi Subban.
The Black Roses EP features 4 original tracks, most of which have been receiving regular dancefloor airtime from your favourite DJs over the past few months. The title track is no exception, a fast and deadly groove with a lot of energy. The slightly more low slung, but similarly floor driven 13 Planes might sound familiar to some, first appearing on Suid Tronica’s first compilation last year. It’s the opening track however, Free Falling, which seems destined to become an underground favourite, especially for those with more dub orientated ears.
Both the label and Avi have proved themselves as must-watches for the coming year, as the former looks to release more undefined local talent and the latter looks to release his full studio album, A Field Of Flowers, in the first half of 2020.
